Many natural edible oils are highly unsaturated. However, hydrotreating makes oils stable for reserve, resists bacteria growth, and enhances the viscosity of oils. Hydrotreating plant oils places a high requirement for hydrogen purity. Hence the hydrogen should be strictly purified before being applied. The edible oil added with hydrogen can be used to make man-made cream and edible proteins. Non-edible oils added with hydrogen is used as raw materials for producing soaps and fodder of the husbandry industry. Specifically, hydrogen and the glycerolipid of unsaturated acids (oleic acid and linoleic acid) are applied. Hydrogen is instilled into the liquid fat or plant oil.
